So the story of 'Demonshire' is inspired by fictional masterpieces such as 'The Lord of the Rings', 'Game of Thrones' and 'WarCraft'. While the World that it takes place in is in fact called 'Earth', the locations such as cities, deserts and oceans all have fictional names.
The story itself kicks off with a prologue, taking place in the middle of the Third Age. A time long before the human race was the superior species, the Earth was invaded by 'Satharion of Targaroth' and his army of ruthless demons.
The opposite side - The 'Angelstorm' must do whatever they can to stop them from turning the Earth into a bloody wasteland.
The name 'Demonshire' actually came to me way back in 2006 when I watched the James Bond-movie 'Tomorrow Never Dies', where a British battleship called 'HMS Devonshire' gets sunk. That name kind of stuck in my head, but I felt that I had to change SOMETHING, but I just couldn't figure out what. But then I actually misspelled the name on my keyboard, turning the 'V' into an 'M', and the rest is history.
Before I started to record my music, the former names was 'Dethrone Ex' and 'Obnoxious', albeit very briefly.
